  5.         This is the evaluation copy of Easy Base - the latest and most
  6.         flexible data management system for the IBM PC.
  7.  
  8.         The documentation is in two parts - A Users manual and a
  9.         Programmers Reference. You can view and print the documentation
  10.         from within Easy Base. 
  11.  
  12.         IMPORTANT:-
  13.  
  14.         The date format is pre set to European (Day/Month/Year). North
  15.         American users should reset this (Item 2 -Options- Utilities Menu )
  16.  
  17.         The Evaluation copy is supplied with three data sub directories.
  18.  
  19.         MANUALS   This directory contains ready written routines which
  20.                   will print the documentation double sided.
  21.  
  22.         SAMPLES   This contains many of the example forms and procedures
  23.                   used in the documentation.

  25.         DEMOAPP   This sub directory contains a complete ready written
  26.                   commercial quality application.

  28.         All three directories have their own menu systems. To access the
  29.         application menus use the password "Start" when you sign on 
  30.         instead of your developers password.

  34.                         EVALUATION COPY LIMITATIONS
  35.  
  36.         The Evaluation Version of Easy Base includes all the features of
  37.         the Registered Version. You can fully test and evaluate the system
  38.         before deciding whether or not to purchase it.
  39.  
  40.         The only limitation is that the Evaluation Version will only access
  41.         any given sub directory 30 times. Once a sub directory has been
  42.         accessed 30 times it can only be accessed by the Registered Version.

  44.         If you feel that you are still "evaluating" the system when this
  45.         occurs then you can continue your evaluation by starting a new sub 
  46.         directory. The program itself will work indefinitely and if you
  47.         have valuable data in a sub directory which the evaluation copy will
  48.         no longer access then you can transfer it to the new sub directory 
  49.         with the Install Form Utility.

  51.         Hopefully, this situation will never arise. Easy Base is probably
  52.         the best Data Management System available for the IBM PC and at
  53.         only $25 for the Registered Version we feel sure you will wish to
  54.         purchase a copy.
